Ustadji's depth of mastery allows him to express a wide range of emotions through his evocative interpretation of these 4 raags. Playfully romantic and at times agonizingly somber, his playing strikes the core of the listener guiding them through love's journey. Ustadji has spent the past six months delicately perfecting each of these raags specifically for this CD. Many SPK Academy students will recognize the signature gats, taans and alankars from having participated in te last few shibirs.
